Hatched in Manchester

Schooled in Coventry,

University in Bradford.

But my photographic journey begins in Sydney Australia.

It's April 1994 and I'm sat feeling like a naughty schoolboy outside the headmasters office.

Except that wasn't the case.

I was about to be made redundant , but as they say, when one door closes another one opens.

I had always had a passing interest in photography and had never really done anything about it.

As a result of losing my job, I'd been given a wedge of money....yippee.

Opportunity knocked!

Armed with a battered old Olympus OM20 and a shed load of film ' I embarked on a 'lap' of

Australia to photograph the proverbial 'lucky country'.

The results of this trip were the beginnings of my portfolio.

In the years since, I have gone on to sell over 30,000 ready to frame mounted prints to all corners

of the globe.

Fast forward to another pivotal April morning this time in 2021.

I had just been diagnosed with cancer.

Luckily for me it was one of the 'better ones' to have.

Whilst it won't be cured, it can hopefully be controlled.

Strange as it seems, it offered a new lease of life to my photography.

With that very much in mind, another door had opened up, and encouraged me to pursue with

renewed enthusiasm my twin loves of travel and taking happy snaps.

The galleries on this site have been taken predominately over the last five years since that

fateful day.

Fingers crossed you enjoy viewing the results as much as I did taking them.
